- How long can the lock work on batteries and what to do if they are completely discharged ?
- TTLOCK electronic locks consume very little power thanks to BLE (Bluetooth low energy) technology. Usually the locks work for about 12 months on one set of batteries. The battery level is transmitted to the TTLOCK app and notifies you in advance if you need to replace the batteries. If you forget to replace the batteries - you can open the lock by connecting the POWER BANK to the emergency power socket or you can open the lock with a mechanical key.
- What to do if there is no internet in the place where the lock is installed ?
- The Internet is not necessary for the lock to work. Internet is needed only for the first initialization of the lock and entering the settings into the lock memory. After initialization and programming the lock will work according to the pre-programmed algorithm and accumulate in itself the report of events.
- How does the lock transfer the event log to the cloud? Because the lock only has BLUETOOTH?
- All information from the lock can be transmitted to the cloud by two methods - via WiFi-gateway (purchased separately) or via the Internet in users' phones. Each time the lock is opened via the app, the lock transmits an encrypted event log to the user's smartphone. And through the application the information is transmitted to the cloud.
- If all the information is stored in the cloud, how secure is it and can hackers not break the lock?
- All information is transmitted and stored in encrypted form. Only the event log and user list are stored on the server in the cloud. Programming of cards and personal passwords is possible only from the administrator's smartphone within a radius of 2m from the lock. And all actions on the generation of temporary passwords and eKey - are stored in the event log and are available only through the account of the lock administrator. - How remote password generation works and how the lock gets passwords?

Preset passwords are passwords that are set via administrator's smartphone menu only when there is Bluetooth connection with the lock. These passwords may contain from 4 to 8 digits, are tied to a specific user and are set by the administrator (for example, the password for the user "Kate" may be. 1234# and for "Sara" - 2580#)
Generated passwords are passwords that are generated remotely without any connection to the lock! All generated passwords contain 6-8 digits. Into these digits, using a secret encryption algorithm, the TTLOCK software encrypts the action sequence for each particular lock belonging to the administrator. Thus, you can generate a password for the lock "OFFICE" which will work from 10.00 on November 1 till 18.30 on November 4, and then will cease to exist.
